From a school corridor to a circle that gives back.
It started on September 9, 2022, when friends who studied together at Aruppukottai Devangar Higher Secondary School between 1985 and 1992 decided their friendship should do more than remember the past — it should serve the present.
The main objective of this trust is to help our friends, and the people we know, who are at the bottom of society. First, this trust was created as a bridge for us to do the necessary help within our own circle of friends — a small circle. Then, with the help of friends, we will scale it up to the next level.
Ilanthalir Trust is a community-driven organization formed by alumni of the 1985–1992 batch. Our mission is to give back to society and support meaningful causes.

Mission
Our efforts are intended to end the vicious cycle of social exclusion and poverty and to rekindle hope for a better future. We believe everyone has the right to the resources and opportunities they need to live and grow in dignity, and to participate fully in society.
